
May Thompson-Cook
May is an events professional with 30 years’ experience working both as a freelancer and also from the client’s perspective. She worked for Digital Equipment Company for 9 years, starting her events role in the UK and then becoming a Regional Event Manager overseeing a team of 11 staff. Freelancing for 24 years for a mixture of clients from Retail, IT, Education sectors as well as supporting many event management and production organisations. During this time, in March 2000, MDQ was born and the concept of providing, professional, trained and experienced event support staff was underway.
May’s vast experience in event management including delegate flow and front of house management are all key aspects towards understanding the client’s requirements and the success of building and managing small and large teams of staff.

Graham Cook
Graham’s background has been predominantly in the distribution sector. He has 28 years’ experience working for J Sainsbury plc in their distribution division, during that time having a number of roles such as planning, budget accounting, operational shift management and finally contractors manager with responsibilities for overseeing the day to day operation of six contractor depots located across the south of England.
Leaving Sainsbury’s in 1999 he joined Porsche Cars Great Britain with responsibility for all new car distribution to the official Porsche centres UK wide, distribution of PCGB cars used at official track days and cars used for promotional work such as Top Gear etc.
